Hope Solo’s Husband Is Back in Jail, This Time For Violating Probation
Hope Solo’s husband, Jerramy Stevens, was arrested on Wednesday for the second time in one month.
This time around, the former Seattle Seahawk was arrested in Florida for violating his probation from an October 2010 arrest for marijuana possession.
The U.S. soccer star’s husband’s second arrest rounds out one eventful month for Jerramy. The ex-football player got arrested, got hitched, and then got arrested again — all in the span of two weeks.
Jerramy’s first run-in with the law (this month) occurred on November 12 when he was arrested under suspicion of assault the day before his wedding to the Dancing With the Stars Season 13 alum. The violation, which involved a brawl of eight people, reportedly occurred at a party and resulted in a laceration on Hope’s elbow. Charges for the assault were dropped, however, and Jerramy and Hope went ahead with their wedding the next day.
Responding to the talk of Jerramy’s most recent arrest, Hope took to Twitter and wrote, “I feel bad for all the ignorance in the world. People are so quick to judge. The media spins stories in such dramatic fashion. I will Continue to show love, and never make judgements.I am blessed w True Love & the beautiful game of soccer. I wish everybody the same happiness."
