Which Glee Characters Need More Screen Time? Our Top 5 Picks — Including Quinn and Santana!

If it were up to us, all of our favorite Glee characters would get a song every week, along with ample screen time in various storylines. Of course, if that happened, each episode would be roughly a week long. However, we still feel that there are certain characters who are getting short shifted in Season 4, so here are the five people of whom we want to see more.

Plus, don't forget to check out our list of the Top 5 Glee Characters That Deserve LESS Screen Time. There are two sides two every coin.

5. Rachel Berry

This time last year, we never would have thought we’d be asking for more Rachel (Lea Michele) screen time. Not that we’ve ever wanted less of her, mind you, but she was definitely the star of the show in previous seasons. It doesn’t feel that way as much these days, as she has been missing from a few episodes and feels forgotten at times. We’d love for the show to get away from the weepy Rachel that we’ve seen recently and see her back to ruling the world.

4. Sebastian Smythe

We finally got a glimpse of the reformed bad-boy Warbler during “Dynamic Duets” last week, and it just reminded us of how much we love him. We’re glad that Blaine (Darren Criss) didn’t join the Warblers, but that doesn’t mean that Sebastian (Grant Gustin) doesn’t deserve his own interesting storylines from time to time, now that he’s not quite so evil. And we’re not the types to be shallow (nope, not in the least bit!), but who wouldn’t want to stare at Sebastian each week?

3. TIE: Santana Lopez and Brittany Pierce

It’s no secret that we wish both Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris) would get more screen time, preferably together and as a couple. It was great to see Santana back in McKinley to play Rizzo, but we still feel like the Santana of seasons past who was feisty and at times very loving hasn’t returned yet. Her powerful performance of “Mine” this season just reminded us of what we’ve been missing this season. Bring back the sweet lady kisses.

2. Kurt Hummel

Have the show’s producers forgotten what an amazing voice Kurt (Chris Colfer) has? We hear he’ll finally be getting a solo soon, but it’s ridiculous that he’s had zero solos or duets so far this season. Heck, the guy has even been missing from two episodes. So as much as we enjoy his storyline involving Vogue, we’d like to see him back to studying music and blowing us away with his voice. You are the greatest star in the world, Kurt!

1. Quinn Fabray

This one is a no-brainer, considering that, prior to this week’s “Thanksgiving,” she had been completely non-existent this season! Between her powerful voice, her always-fascinating love life, and her knack for telling it like it is, there’s really no excuse for keeping Quinn (Dianna Agron) away. We’re glad Quinn is now “on her way” to Glee and hopefully for a very long time.

I agree completely!

I would have chosen differently.
