Christina Aguilera Dismisses Former Voice Winners: “It’s All About Chris Mann!”

Voice history was made on Tuesday night’s live results show, when Christina Aguilera’s final contestant, Dez Duron, was eliminated, thus booting her from the competition.

On previous seasons, each coach has been guaranteed a spot in the Final 4, but thanks to a new rule, that’s no longer the case. While Christina will remain on the show through the Dec. 18 finale, she’ll no longer have a contender for the top prize in Season 3.

But, according to the pop diva, that doesn’t mean a thing.

Chris Mann, prime example,” Xtina told Us Weekly. “Came in fourth last year. It’s like ultimately, who’s the real winner? Who’s Javier? Who’s Jermaine? At this point, I think it’s all about Chris Mann, thank you!”

These comments follow her proclamation that Chris Mann has been the most commercially successful Voice finalist thus far, a statement she made on the show.

Since the May 2012 finale of Season 2, Chris Mann was the first to release an album, and just last night he performed two songs at the Christmas in Rockefeller Center tree-lighting ceremony.

Coach Adam Levine has admitted that Javier Colon’s lack of success post-Season 1 has been disappointing, and it’s still a bit early to tell how Jermaine Paul’s career will go after his Season 2 win.

But do you think Christina’s comments are justified or out of line? Weigh in below!
