The Vampire Diaries

How Much Money Does Nina Dobrev Make Per Episode of The Vampire Diaries?

How much money does Nina Dobrev make? To put it bluntly: A hell of a lot more than us. (But maybe not as much as you might think!)

According to various sources, the Vampire Diaries star makes somewhere around $30,000 per episode. That means that each week we see her gorgeous face onscreen, Nina’s walking away with enough cash to buy herself a brand new Camaro convertible! (Or 60 pairs of Jimmy Choo heels. Or 7,500 Starbucks lattes. Or... you get the idea.) At an average of 22 episodes per season, the brunette beauty’s raking in a whopping $660,000 a year!

Now, Nina’s paycheck is certainly nothing to sneeze at, but you might be surprised that she’s on the lower end of the TV salary spectrum. As of 2011, her co-star and real-life love Ian Somerhalder made $40,000 per episode. True Blood’s Anna Paquin brings in $75,000 an ep, while Zooey Deschanel pockets $275,000 for New Girl!

We realize the CW isn’t one of the big three networks, but if her reported salary is true, Nina deserves so much more! We hope she’s negotiated since then!
