Once Upon a Time Winter Finale Spoiler: Regina Tries to Block Snow and Emma From Storybrooke!

Wow. We see Regina, Mr. Gold, Ruby (Meghan Ory), and Henry (Jared Gilmore) in front of the magic well in Storybrooke. The well is rumbling, meaning Gold and Regina have set up some kind of spell. Based on their conversation and ensuing argument, they want to close off the portal so that Cora (Barbara Hershey) (who they both fear) won’t be able to come to Storybrooke.

Regina’s explanation, that “My mother will destroy everything I love, and that means you,” doesn’t fly with Henry. He argues, “You said you wanted to change, to be better. This is how,” telling her that good always defeats evil, and to have faith that Emma and Mary Margaret will defeat Cora and Hook, meaning they will be the ones who make it through the portal.
