Who Won Sectionals? Glee Season 4 Burning Question

Talk about a cliffhanger! After Marley (Melissa Benoist) collapsed at the end of the first song in the New Directions’ set, things sure didn’t look good (for Marley or the glee club). But it looks like we’ll be going into next week without knowing for certain who won.

Did the Warblers finally earn a win? Their versions of Flo Rida’s “Whistle” and One Direction’s “”Live While We’re Young” seemed to wow the judges and definitely impressed us, but our totally biased opinion is that The Warblers are best when fronted by Blaine (Darren Criss). That said, newcomer Hunter (Nolan Gerard Funk) and reformed bad boy Sebastian (Grant Gustin) held their own.

And the Mennonite glee club was actually a huge surprise! Their medley of traditional songs didn’t sound nearly as stuffy as you’d expect an Amish glee club to sound. We have to admit, we expected them to suck worse than Aural Intensity’s name.

Unlike the New Directions, the other two groups actually finished their sets, but it’s possible the kids from McKinley can still eke out a win. We’re talking about a group who managed to win even after one of their own went into labor! Surely they can pull through Marley’s collapse — though after the promo for next week’s episode, we fear they may be disqualified. What would that mean for the rest of the season? Okay, that’s too scary to even think about!
