Once Upon a Time Season 2 Winter Finale Spoilers: 8 Things We Learned From the Sneak Peeks

The Once Upon a Time Season 2 winter finale is almost here (Season 2, Episode 9: “Queen of Hearts” airs December 2), and we’ve already compiled a list of spoilers for you to enjoy. But the sneak peeks and promos reveal even more secrets and revelations about the big ending.

1) Regina and Rumple are working together. In the sneak peek above, Henry (Jared Gilmore) tries to get Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) to keep the Storybrooke portal in the well open. Henry believes that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) will defeat Cora (Barbara Hershey) and Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) in Fairytale Land, and that they’ll be the ones to come through.

2) Regina and Rumple are deathly afraid of Cora. They are so scared of her, they’re willing to shut out Emma and Mary Margaret from the portal, and break Henry’s heart. Regina warns Henry that Cora will destroy him if she makes it to Storybrooke.

3) Regina may turn out to be one of the good guys. Based on her softening expression in the above sneak peek, it looks like Regina might actually be convinced by Henry’s pleas to keep the portal open.

4) Rumplestiltskin left Emma a message in his old cell. This suggests that he knew she would make it to Fairytale Land all along.

5) There will be a flashback scene to Captain Hook and Regina in Fairytale Land. It looks like Hook has come back from Neverland to seek his revenge on Rumplestiltskin, with the Evil Queen’s help.

6) Emma is locked up. In the extended promo above, we see Emma behind bars in what looks like Rumple’s old cell. And Captain Hook is her captor.

7) Cora uses magic. We also see a snippet where Cora casts her magic over Mary Margaret, knocking her unconscious.

8) Rumple’s dagger is back. Remember that dagger, that marked Rumple as the official Dark One? It’s back, and he’s definitely using it right near the Storybrooke portal.
