After Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, which documented the cast’s summer 2011 tour, was met with mixed reviews from critics and fans (hey, we LOVED it), could a more conventional film following the lives of our fave characters be in the stars? Another concert movie is likely to appeal to the devoted fanbase, but a feature film may sway the unconverted into buying a ticket.
A film would certainly be fitting for Glee stars like Lea Michele and Dianna Agron, who are no strangers to the silver screen, and Broadway star Darren Criss, who would surely shine in a two-hour musical.
Although Fox has confirmed (via Entertainment Weekly) that “there will not be a Glee-spinoff,” a film about the lives of the characters as adults isn't out of the question. Think of the possibilities!
We know that Darren Criss loves the drama between Kurt and Blaine. Darren told E! Online that he and Chris Colfer were becoming like “an old married couple,” and it’s “time to shake it up now!” Wouldn't the fan-favorite couple make great movie drama?
