Amber Tamblyn Describes “Marigold” Dress For Barefoot Wedding

The fact that Amber Tamblyn (House, General Hospital, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) married quirky David Cross (Arrested Development) despite the randomness of their love connection — and their nearly 20-year age difference — already hints to a unique personality.

So it wasn't that surprising to see an Instagram photo of Amber on her early October wedding day, barefoot in a yellow dress, exiting a canoe, headed into the woods.

"There's nothing really traditional about me," Amber confirmed to Us Weekly, adding that her dress was actually "marigold" and had a cream train in the back, "like a center-piece that was cut out in the middle."

What do you think of the wedding dress? Not wearing white is almost becoming more common than wearing white. Pretty soon it will be noteworthy when brides don't wear pink or yellow or violet.
