Courtland Rogers Charged With Felony Minutes Before Marrying Jenelle Evans!
Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers tied the knot in a small courthouse ceremony on December 4, but their day was far from ideal. According to RadarOnline, Courtland was charged with a felony for obtaining property by false pretenses just hours before getting married!
So, why was Courtland charged with a felony? Turns out someone took out "false charges" on him, but he's an innocent man! "Check my records I have not been in any trouble for the past 7 years," Courtland posted on Jenelle's blog, Feelings and Emotions. "Until recently I have had somebody take false charges out on me but thats ok because I am innocent so I will be okay." Courtland also confirms that he has a job as a roofer (where he makes $700 per week), and is clean and sober. As for rumors to the contrary, Courty insists that it's just his baby mama, Taylor Lewis, trying to make him look bad. "My baby momma has recently out of nowhere realized that she can be heard now since I date jenelle and thinks that it's cool to try and get fame by putting me down on being a father," he explains, adding "I love my daughter with all my heart and Taylor honestly knows that she has even said it to me before."
Courtland also insists that Taylor is an unfit mother to their daughter, JaJa. "I am so scared that something tragic is going to happen to my innocent daughter," he says. "I WANT MY DAUGHTER SAFE!"
Looks like Courtland is willing to take his baby mama to court! Perhaps the reason he and Jenelle rushed into marriage was to give JaJa a stable environment?
