Pregnant Kate Middleton “Is Continuing to Feel Better,” Says Palace

While the Duchess of Cambridge, who announced she was pregnant yesterday, is still hospitalized for acute morning sickness, a new statement from the palace says she’s on the road to recovery.

"The Duchess of Cambridge is continuing to feel better," a representative for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said in a statement. "She and the Duke are immensely grateful for the good wishes they have received. She will remain in hospital at present and will continue to be treated for hyperemesis gravidarum."

Kate has been hospitalized since December 3 for the condition, which, as moms who’ve been through it know, can include symptoms such as persistent vomiting, dehydration, acute nausea, weight loss, and lightheadedness.

According to Us, the Duchess will continue to be closely watched at King Edward VII Hospital in London until she’s cleared to go home.
