The Voice Season 3: Top 3 Favorite Live Show Performances From the Top 6 (VIDEOS)

We’re nearing the end of the road on The Voice Season 3, and as the contestant pool narrows, each singer is given even more screen time. Of last night’s 12 performances (two per contestant), we’ve selected our Top 3 favorites.

Read on to see who made the cut.

3) Cassadee Pope | “Stand” by Rascal Flatts

After Rascal Flatts gave Cassadee their personal endorsement last week, the punk rocker honored the compliment by performing one of their classic hits. She managed to make the well-known song all her own, and even gained the support of contestant-less coach Christina Aguilera.

2) Amanda Brown | “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake

We love Amanda Brown’s alternative vibe, but we’ve been waiting for her to tackle classic rock since she destroyed “Dream On.” Decked out in red leather, Amanda gave a killer performance complete with impressive vocals and her signature wail. The electric guitar and spray paint backdrop suit you, girl!

1) Trevin Hunte | “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls

One thing we’ll say for Trevin Hunte is that the boy knows his strengths. Sure, he’s had his awkward Usher phase, but he’s back singing Dreamgirls and all is right in the world. After his chill-inducing blind audition of “Listen,” the Queens native one-upped the shocking performance with the movie’s signature song, “And I Am Telling You.” And, like Christina Aguilera, we’re still “recovering” (while fanning ourselves, natch).
