Adam Levine and Blake Shelton Are Nominated For 2013 Grammy Awards!

We still have a little less than a month until 2013, but next year’s awards season is already under way. Not only will we have The Voice Season 4 in the spring, but hopefully, two coaches will be taking home tiny gold phonographs.

Adam Levine’s band, Maroon 5, received two nominations: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Payphone” with Wiz Khalifa and Best Pop Vocal Album for Overexposed.

Blake Shelton’s “Over” is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance — not to be confused with “Over You,” the heartbreaking song he wrote with his wife — and Miranda Lambert’s Four the Record is up for Best Country Album, too!

Sadly, neither Cee Lo Green nor Christina Aguilera are nominated this year, but since they have plenty of wins under their belts, we doubt they’re too broken up about it. Plus, Xtina’s latest album, Lotus, may have been released too recently to make the cut.

Are you surprised at Adam and Blake’s nominations? Sound off below!
