Amanda Brown’s Top 3 Performances From The Voice Season 3 (VIDEOS)

Throughout Amanda Brown’s run on The Voice Season 3, she had plenty of incredible performances. Whether it was a rockin’ twist on a classic or a powerful rendition of an unconventional tune, she not only knew how to pick the right songs, but how to deliver them flawlessly.

We could talk all day and night about how much we love the New York native and how she left the competition far too soon, but instead, we’ll just break down her Top 3 best performances. However, we’ll be wiping our eyes as we do so — and we won’t judge you if you follow suit.

3. Aretha Franklin’s “You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman)”

Amanda went back to her gospel roots with this usually-untouchable classic song, putting her own soulful twist on it. Unlike other performances where there were distracting elements flashy outfits or dancers crowding the stage, this time, it was just her and a beautiful choir. And even though this performance didn’t help her garner enough votes to make it into the Top 4, she did showcase her flawless voice, and the notes she hit at the end were basically unnatural.

Grace Potter & the Nocturnals’ “Stars”

Not everyone knew this Grace Potter song before, but Amanda’s rendition definitely put it on the map. She took a chance by picking a lesser-known tune, but the risk was definitely worth the reward, even getting a shout out from Grace on Twitter! This could have been a mellow performance, considering she started out the song sitting, but her powerful voice and the insane notes she belted had everyone on their feet — both with applause and excitement. And we were definitely clapping at home, too!

Aerosmith’s “Dream On”

Not only is this Amanda’s No. 1 performance, but it is arguably the best of the entire season. We get chills just thinking of her rendition of the classic rock song, in which she hit notes that gave Steven Tyler a run for his money! She commanded the stage in a sparkling, backless shirt, letting the song build naturally until she ended with an insane wail, leaving our jaws on the floor. This will definitely go down in Voice history, and it also shows that Amanda isn’t going anywhere — we expect to be seeing more of her sooner rather than later.
