Lucy Hale recently talked to Entertainment Weekly, and she dished that Aria has a "slow realization of the weight of the actual situation," with her dad, adding that she has to deal with living at home with someone she no longer knows if she can trust. She promises that the story with her dad "does play out" in an "interesting" way.
As for Ezra (Ian Harding), Ezria fans may not be happy to hear that the entire situation there makes Aria (who is still in high school, after all) wonder "if this is what she really wants. She really grows up in this second half of the season."
So, does “grow up” mean grow away from Ezra, or does it just bring them closer?
