Should Revenge’s Daniel Grayson Have Broken Up With Ashley Davenport?

OK, we know what you’re thinking: Why would we contest Daniel Grayson and Ashley Davenport’s epic breakup? But at Wetpaint Entertainment, we consider ourselves fair Revenge fans. Sure, we hate Fauxmanda and her knack of getting in the way as much as the next viewer, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sympathize with the Hamptons’ most hateable inhabitants.

For example, take Ashley Davenport. This ex-hooker can’t seem to help herself when it comes to rich men —especially if their last name is Grayson) — and in the winter finale, she was forced into Salvador Grobet’s bed by Victoria Grayson and some convincing blackmail.

Even the naive new Grayson Global CEO knew that his parents were behind Ashley degrading herself, so why would he let that come between their relationship? Obviously, his feelings for Emily Thorne are 10 times stronger — did you see his emo iPhoto deleting session?) — but she’s with Aiden now.

Could Danny have broken up with Ash solely due to her transgressions? Or perhaps he wanted to open up the playing field and attack Aiden’s relationship with Emily head-on?

Ashley basically got the short end of the stick, and because we all love to hate her so much, no one really seemed to care. Anyone can slip up and have desk sex with their boyfriend’s father, right? Plus, Ashley and Daniel weren’t dating when it happened, and Conrad was divorced.

Do you think Ashley deserves what she got or is she another victim of the Graysons? Weigh in below!
