Kristen Stewart Poses on Marie Claire Cover: “I Don’t Even Like Being Looked At”
Kristen Stewart is definitely a contradiction. She's an actress who loves fashion, but she told Marie Claire Australia she doesn't like to be looked at and she doesn't always know what designer she's wearing.
The Twilight star is on the cover of the Aussie mag's January 2013 issue, and Kristen Stewart News says the interview was conducted around the same time as Comic-Con, which would've been just before the cheating scandal broke. It makes her words seem even more prescient, since she talks about disliking all the attention fame gives her. “I’m particularly weird because I don’t even like being looked at,” Kristen said. “A lot of actors love it and they love going out and literally doing it as an activity. I hate it.”
She said she leaves it to a six-member prep team to get her ready for red carpet events. “I don’t especially enjoy the process, to be honest. I have a lot of actor friends who love getting ready for something just because they feel kind of important. I don’t identify with that. But being in the public eye, I’m expected to look good and I understand that.”
She does look good on the cover — even if she also looks so tiny you could wrap one hand around her waist.
