Dancing With the Stars is known for transforming stars. Dance skills are learned, confidence is boosted — and often, pounds are shed. So what's the secret to how the stars and pros get and stay so fit and healthy? All of the hours in the studio certainly make a difference, but what they eat helps, too.

It turns out that a number of the stars use Freshology, a diet program that provides home-delivered calorie controlled gourmet meals — which is a plus, given the busy schedule the competitors deal with. Freshology has been serving the pros and celebs for years, and some of them swear by it.

"[Freshology] is my lifeline of staying healthy and fed," Derek Hough explained exclusively to Wetpaint Entertainment. "It feels good to eat right, but it's not always easy with my intense rehearsal schedule."

Huh. We'd never really thought about it, but it makes sense to us that the stars and pros would want food options that are easy as well as healthy. Who wants to go home and cook after dancing all day?
