Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Power Rankings For Season 3, Episode 5: “Girls Gone Ojai’ld”

Who’s livin’ large, and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 3, Episode 5: “Girls Gone Ojai’ld” in our weekly Power Rankings. Let the countdown begin!

Ranking: 7 (out of 7)
Last week: 2 (out of 7)
Here’s why: After a strong showing last week, Kyle’s in the basement! There were moments when she was her fun-loving self, but we don’t know why she had to rehash the f-bomb drama in the limo, or why she was quite so combative with Lisa at dinner. And we’re not exactly going to give Kyle a hard time for getting drunk during the weekend that her newly sober sister organized, but it might have been nice if Kyle had reached out to Kim a bit more.

Ranking: 6
Last week: 7
Here’s why: We understand why Taylor was feeling testy about Brandi’s book deal, after Brandi’s harsh words for Taylor’s book. But these feel like different situations, and this group setting probably wasn’t the best place for Taylor to address it.

Ranking: 5
Last week: 5
Here’s why: We can appreciate that Yolanda would sooner exercise than get wasted (which wouldn’t be our preference, FYI), as it was nice that Kim had someone to head back to her room with. However, we wish Yolanda wouldn’t feel the need to judge people who do enjoy a boozy night out with friends. And the less said about her lamb cell injection chat, the better.

Ranking: 4
Last week: 6
Here’s why: Adrienne probably shouldn’t have gotten involved in Kim and Brandi’s discussion, but we will give her credit for accepting Brandi’s half-apology and doing her best to move on. By the way, we couldn’t have been the only ones who were panicking about whether their arm-wrestling match might escalate into a full-on brawl, right?

Ranking: 3

Here’s why: One characteristic that we especially admire of Brandi’s is that she tries her best not to hold a grudge. So we see her patch things up with Kim in the bathroom, and then she kinda-sorta apologizes to Adrienne at the table. Don’t feel badly, Brandi we’re happy for your book deal, even if the other women aren’t!

Ranking: 2
Last week: 1
Here’s why: After two consecutive weeks in the top spot, Kim’s streak is broken. Still, she had a pretty terrific episode, as it’s clear that Ojai suits her. It was nice seeing her having fun on the trip, despite that fact that the others spent a good chunk of the weekend getting drunk. And we’re not really sure what she meant by the “clay from God,” but if she’s happy, we’re happy.

Ranking: 1
Last week: 4
Here’s why: We’re a little shocked that it took Lisa this long to get her first number-one ranking this season. But Lisa impressed us from start to finish, especially when she stood up for Brandi to Kyle, and then when she convinced Brandi to apologize to Adrienne, which helped keep the weekend civil. Plus, Lisa’s stellar handstand alone probably would have earned her the top spot!
