Robert Pattinson Believes in Lasting Love — Especially Between Edward and Jacob
We're getting this whole thing wrong. The Twilight love story isn't about Bella and Edward, it's a bromance between Edward and Jacob.
Robert Pattinson gave a cute interview to Seventeen magazine Latin America, and he was asked if he and Taylor Lautner learned to love each other in the final Twilight film.
"Sure!" Rob answered. "I give him my daughter! That’s love. You could even say this entire thing is a love story between Edward and Jacob." We will!
On the same subject, Rob was asked if he believed in the power of love, a love that lasts a lifetime, like in the movies. "Definitely, yes," he said. "It sounds cheesy, but I see it with my parents. My dad met my mom when she was 17 and they’re still happily together."
The interviewer said it's not cheesy. "No, it’s rather cute, especially when most of the kids at my school had parents going through divorces," Rob continued. "So it was great seeing my parents sticking together."
Aww. You always hope for the lifetime love story, like Rob's parents have, although most of the time things don't quite work out that way. At least Edward and Jacob will always have each other!
