Which Fashion Designer Created a Line Inspired by Gossip Girl?

We’ve all had those days where we wake up and think, “Why doesn’t my closet look like Serena (Blake Lively)’s?” Well, for one fashion designer, that thought of taking on the Gossip Girl styles got real. Instead of maxing out credit cards at Bergdorf’s and Barney’s, she created lines based on each character’s clothes.

So, who took things from fictional dreams to reality? Anna Sui. Unfortunately, her line for Target debuted in 2009 and is no longer available, but that might be for the best. Anna designed a few looks for each of the major girls on the show at the time.

There were boho looks with hard edges styled after Vanessa (Jessica Szohr), modern looks like Serena, cutesy buttoned up Blair (Leighton Meester)-inspired dresses, and print-centric get-ups for the Jenny (Taylor Momsen) lovers out there.

If another designer took on the intimidatingly awesome Gossip Girl fashion challenge, would you pull out your credit card? Whose look are you most into? If you could have clothes from one season of the show, which would it be? Tell us everything.
