American Idol’s Tim Urban Pens Taylor Swift’s Next Breakup Song (VIDEO)

Unless you've been trapped under a rock for the past few years, you know about Taylor Swift and her seemingly endless supply of breakup ditties. With a revolving door of suitors, she's never short on material. Her latest conquest is Harry Styles from One Direction, and a former American Idol contestant is warning the boy band singer not to get too comfy as Taylor’s new man.

Season 9’s Tim Urban (no relation to judge Keith Urban) decided head Taylor off at the pass by preemptively writing her next breakup song when she and the popular Brit inevitably part ways.

"I'm writing songs all the time, and half of them are silly," he said to The Hollywood Reporter. “For whatever reason, it just popped into my head that she's going to write a song about it."

Tim’s tongue-in-cheek lyrics lament how Harry was “the wrong direction with a beautiful face” and casually comment that the Brit can “keep his accent” as his post-breakup momento. Within two hours of tweeting the video, he was surprised to find out it had over 5,000 views (and even one share from a writer on The Jimmy Fallon Show).

Always considered the “nice guy” of Season 9, Tim made sure to point out that he wasn’t trying to be mean to either Taylor or Harry by writing the song. Ryan Seacrest even dubbed him "Teflon Tim" due to his enduring smile despite some harsh criticism from the infamously acid-tongued Simon Cowell.

Tim still holds no hard feelings against Simon who, ironically, is the man behind One Direction.

"I think Simon would get the humor in it,” he said. “Simon has a sneaky sense of humor. I think he would appreciate it."
