First, she talked about the fact that Jill claimed she thought she and Bethenny were “like sisters” but soon learned that it was purely “a business relationship” instead. “A business relationship? We met because we came on the show. We were going through this new experience,” Bethenny reacted. “I honestly didn’t think it was going to become anything. She was hopeful. And we kind of went through this journey together.”
The next subject up for hilarious review was when Jill claimed that Andy (and by extension, Bravo as a whole) showed favoritism toward Bethenny above herself and the other Housewives. This got Bethenny going with a nasal reenactment of the accusation. “It’s not fair Andy. Why would you be friends with Bethenny and not the other Housewives! It’s not fair Andy!” she screeched before getting serious.
“Okay,” she continued. “I didn’t ever have any kind of personal relationship with you until well after the Housewives … When I was with Bravo, the powers that be, I kept my nose clean. I wasn’t like ‘They edit us to look bad!’ I was kind of just cool with you guys … That’s life. We’re not in high school.”
Speaking of teenage histrionics, when the clip of Jill touting her social network numbers came up, Bethenny said, “Oh my … who would … If you gave me ten million dollars I wouldn’t know how many followers of any sort I have … Who has time to think about these things?”
Finally, Bethenny decided to throw all her dice on the table.
“Here’s the truth about this entire interview she did … back in the day, based on things that happened during that season, I was very, very angry at her,” she said. “I don’t think you should hold onto the anger, and I honestly wish her well and I hope she’s happy … And it’s not really necessary to talk about it anymore. I hope she’s well. I honestly, honestly do, but it’s enough. It’s enough.”
