9 Other Lost Stars We Want to See on Once Upon a Time
As most Once Upon a Timefans know, show creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were both writers on Lost prior to their time as the heads of our fave fairy tale drama. Obviously they liked the actors from the twisty island mystery, because they've already cast three of them on OUAT — Emilie de Ravinas Belle, Alan Dale as King George, and Jorge Garcia as a giant.
Jorge's casting got us thinking more in earnest about a topic we've often considered: Which other Lost actors we'd love to see swing by OUAT.
While we'd be happy to see almost any familiar Lost face, here are 9 ex-Losties we think would work especially well on OUAT — and our dream parts for them.
Naveen Andrews as Jafar: Edward Kitsis has mentioned that Naveen Andrews (Sayid) would make a good Jafar. Yes please! Sayid was one of our very favorite Lost characters, and we know Naveen can pull off a mean dark streak.
Josh Holloway as Robin Hood: With his dimples and flowing blond locks, Josh Holloway (Sawyer) could certainly work as a prince, but we prefer him in a more roguish role. He'd be basically perfect for Robin Hood.
Henry Ian Cusick as The Pied Piper: Now that Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond Hume) isn't on Scandalanymore, it's time he comes over to OUAT. He was perfect as the earnest and broken Desmond, but on Scandal he proved he could also do devilishly charming, and we'd like to see him do something a bit different on OUAT. We're thinking he'd make a fascinating Pied Piper. He could also work as Robin Hood, if Josh isn't available.
Yunjin Kim as Mulan’s relative: Yes, Yunjin (Sun Kwon) has been cast on ABC midseason show Mistresses, but that doesn't mean she couldn't swing by OUAT, perhaps as one of Mulan's relatives.
Zuleikha Robinson as Jasmine: Zuleikha Robinson (Ilana Verdansky) was a Lost latecomer, but that means her appearance on OUAT would be less distracting than some of these other actors might be, and we think she'd be a really interesting choice for Jasmine.
Mira Furlan as Wicked Witch of the West: We … don't actually know who we think Mira would be best as. We just really miss Rousseau. She could be a cool twist on the Wicked Witch of the West if OUAT ever does make its way over to Oz.
Tania Raymonde as Wendy: Speaking of the Rousseau family, we think Tania Raymonde (Alex) could definitely work as Wendy Darling. Hey, we already have a Hook...
Jeremy Davies as a prince: We think Jersey Davies (Daniel Faraday) would do well in the reluctant hero role; he'd be good as any prince who needs a lot of prodding to do the brave thing.
Terry O'Quinn as any villain: Now that 666 Park Avenue is on its way out, we'd love to see Terry O'Quinn come to OUAT as a bad guy. Any at all.
