The Vampire Diaries

Which Vampire Diaries Actor Wants to Star in a Foreign Language Film?

The Vampire Diaries set is very multicultural. From different accents to different languages, the stars of the show are more than just something fun to look at. But which one of the actors is ready to take their language skills to the big screen?

No, we’re not talking about the gorgeous Bulgarian-speaking Nina Dobrev (Elena). Actually, we’re talking about the gorgeous Polish-speaking Paul Wesley (Stefan).

According to JustJared, in a recent interview with Glow Magazine, Paul talked about his desire to speak Polish on the big screen. “It’d be a tremendous accomplishment for me to one day act in a Polish film. Some of the best filmmakers are from Poland,” Paul said.

Or perhaps Stefan could start speaking Polish from time to time. The guy’s been around for more than 100 years, it isn’t a stretch to say he picked up another language or two, is it?

So while Paul waits for a Polish opportunity to knock on his door, he's keeping busy by working as a producer and actor on a new project with his friends Shawn Christensen and Damon Russell. The trio is taking a short film made by Shawn and turning it into a feature-length project. Sounds like a plan! We support anything that puts Paul on the big screen for hours at a time.

And when he isn’t busy with his latest project, you can catch him hanging out with the rest of the TVD cast in Atlanta. “We all tend to gravitate towards one another by default I suppose, because none of us are from Atlanta. It’s a bit like being away on a 6-year-long summer camp,” Paul said.

Now that is our kind of summer camp.
