January is fast approaching, and we can’t say we mind. See, each January marks a brand-new year with no mistakes in it. That’s why, despite the chill in the air and the bummer you feel when the holidays are over, we kind of dig January. That, plus the fact that it’s also the month Sean Lowe’s The Bachelor premieres. Do you know what else is awesome about January? It’s usually the month when ABC announces the next Bachelorette!
So who will she be? We have a few ideas— some we’re more serious about than others.
5. Rachel Truehart
Rachel Truehart kicks butt — pure and simple. And, after the way Nick Peterson left her high and dry on Bachelor Pad 3, we’d say she deserves a break. We also wouldn’t mind Jaclyn Swartz’s brilliant suggestion that she and Rachel team up as dual Bachelorettes. It would be, like, the funnest season ever.
4. Ali Fedotowsky
Honestly, we really just want Ali Fedotowsky to get back together with Roberto Martinez. Our ideal scenario is that Ali’s the Bachelorette and then this guy in a mask shows up, but instead of this guy, it’s Roberto. Ali falls in love with him all over again and they get married on live TV. Hey, it could happen, right?
Since she and Ben Flajnik split, Courtney Robertson has been romantically connected with The Bachelorette Season 8 runner up Arie Luyendyk, Jr. However, neither party has made any indication that the relationship is anything more serious than two friends having a good time. We love Arie, but we get the feeling he’s a rebound for Courtney. We’d love to see her get a shot at finding her forever-person.
There have already been rumblings that Emily Maynard could be the Bachelorette a second time, and with good reason. She was popular with fans, who really want to see this gorgeous single mom find her soulmate. However, there’s also a possibility she’ll be too busy dancing to be on the hunt for a husband. Another rumor places Emily on the list of contestants for the next season of Dancing With the Stars.
Rumor has is that Kacie Boguskie is the fan favorite returning to The Bachelor this year to compete for Sean Lowe’s affection. However, if Kacie and Sean don’t have a love connection, it’s really only fair that she get a harem of 25 dudes as her consolation prize. Right?
Who do you think should be the next Bachelorette? Should it be one of these five women, or do you have someone else in mind?
