Does Pippa Middleton Have Plans to Become a Today Show Correspondent?
Could Pippa Middleton be the Today show’s ticket to winning the ratings war?
Probably — but that doesn’t mean the famous sister of Kate Middleton actually has any plans to become a TV correspondent. Despite the recent rumors that the NBC morning show has offered Pippa $600,000 in exchange for 20 appearances on Today, reps from the network insist that no such offer has been made.
“There has been no such offer made to Pippa Middleton by the Today show,” the show’s rep told E! News in a statement. “She of course is welcome as a guest on Today anytime.”
According to the source of the false rumors, British newspaper The Daily Mirror, Pippa had been offered a deal to act as the “Royal correspondent” on Today, covering events like the Chelsea Flower Show and the opening of Buckingham Palace to the general public.
