DIY Holiday Card Displays: 5 Easy Projects

Love receiving piles of holiday cards, but aren’t sure what to do with them once they’ve been opened and read? Forget fastening them to the fridge. We’ve got a better solution for you (don’t we always?): do-it-yourself holiday card displays. Pick the style below that suits your decor and get crafting!

Ribbon Display
Mini clothes pins or clips suspend holiday cards onto strips of your favorite ribbon.

Recycled Frames
We love the worn look of these frames (pictured above), but you could spray them any color, really. Screw one or two strands of thin wire into the frame’s sides, hang clips, and you’re ready to showcase your cards.

Tree-Shaped Plywood Holder
With a jigsaw and just a few materials you can craft this rustic card-holding beauty.

Christmas Card Board
This board is super elegant and easy to create. Plus, you don’t have to pack it up once the new year hits; it has year-round appeal!

Tree Branch Display
Scour your yard or a park for a fallen tree limb, then find a simple vase in which to place your earthy find. Hang cards from the branches with wooden clips. Tip: Add in a few mini bulbs for an extra dose of holiday cheer!
