Farrah Abraham on Her Holiday Blues: “I Didn’t Even Want to Be Around Family”
The holidays are a magical time full of binge-eating and yuletide cheer, but Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham has a hard time getting into the festive spirit. Farrah's last few Christmases were a major bummer because she was still grieving the loss of her baby daddy, and she's taken it to the internet to explain why the holidays are so hard for her.
"Two years ago I was depressed, (I was still greiving [sic] the death of my ex-boyfriend and father of my daughter sophia)" Farrah explains on Sulia. "As I remember the past two christmases, I was so sad, and I didn't even want to be around family. From this experience in my life I now see how it can be very hard for others around the holiday season who are going through struggles of different kinds."
While Farrah knows from first-hand experience how hard the holidays can be for people who have lost loved ones, nowadays she's all about finding happiness with her family. "Holiday season is really about the love and family time," she says. "Other materialistic things really do not count and do not make up for the empty feelings."
Real talk, Farrah. If you are feeling blue this Christmakkuh season, take a leaf out of Farrah's book (aka Passy Perfume) and cheer up with some quality family time!
