Pretty Little Liars Season 3: Which Parents Are Most Suspect?
The adults in Rosewood are playing an increasingly large role on Pretty Little LiarsSeason 3. Since we have some time to spare between now and the winter premiere (Season 3, Episode 14: “She’s Better Now,” airing on January 8, 2013), we figure it's a good time to take a step back and evaluate which Pretty Little Liars parents we can trust.
Here's our ranking, from least to most trustworthy.
Peter Hastings (Nolan North): Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) dad is still number one on our list of parental suspects. Between his destruction of the hockey stick Toby (Keegan Allen) found in his backyard to his mysterious past with Alison (Sasha Pieterse), it's clear he knows more than he should about the night Ali died, and he's yet to come up for an explanation for his behavior that satisfies us. We're not saying he had something to do with killing her, but we definitely think he's still hiding things.
Tom Marin (Roark Critchlow): OK, Hanna's (Ashley Benson) dad hasn't really done anything suspect, but he does generally suck, so we don't trust him.
Veronica Hastings (Lesley Fera): Spencer's mom doesn't give us the creeps in the same way her dad does, but there's no question that this lawyer can be ruthless when it comes to protecting her own, and her reasons for defending Garrett (Yani Gellman) are still sketchy.
Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton): We trust Ashley, but we also know she's more than capable of bending the rules to protect her family (sleeping with a cop, anyone?). We don't think she'd ever purposefully do anything to hurt Hanna or her friends, but we could see her getting mixed up in something bad by accident — especially because we don't entirely trust her new love interest, Pastor Ted.
