Although the song didn't pack as much punch as his earlier duet with coach Blake Shelton, it was a sweet moment for the Scottish rocker, who dedicated the performance to his son. Unfortunately, there was some kind of technically difficulty that occurred at the beginning of the song, but Terry recovered quickly — as coach Adam Levine pointed out.
Terry's coach Blake skipped right over the faux pas and focused on the positive, complimenting his ability to make the high notes sound so effortless. "Nobody can do that except for you. Congratulations," he said proudly.
