Whitney Purvis Opens Up About Her Arrest: “It Makes No Sense”
Whitney Purvis has continued making headlines years after her stint on MTV's inaugural season of 16 and Pregnant in 2009, but not always in a good way.
Last week, the Georgia native and her boyfriend/baby daddy, Weston Gosa, were arrested for allegedly smashing a laptop and cell phone to pieces. According to TMZ, police arrested them on Dec. 12, and they were both later released on $1,300 bond. The following day, Whitney made a statement on Facebook explaining her side of the story.
"Weston had broke my phone so I had broke his laptop and we got arrested for it. Seriously. WTF. We didn't even press charges on each other," she wrote.
"They waited four days after it happened to arrest us. It makes no sense. I think they just realized who we were and decided to do it. ‘Cause they charged us with criminal trespass at our own house?"
Hmm, sounds a bit shady to us. It's a shame electronics don't talk, 'cause we may never know what really happened.
What do you guys think happened? Is Whitney's story the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Dish it below.
