Adam Levine Challenges Blake Shelton in Season 4: “I’m Taking Your Tall Country Ass Down!”

Though The Voice Season 3 winner, Cassadee Pope, took home the prize on Tuesday night, coach Adam Levine has been out of the competition for weeks. His final two contestants — Amanda Brown and Melanie Martinez — were eliminated in the same night, leaving Adam to just sit back (à la Christina Aguilera) and watch the final two weeks.

But the tattooed rocker isn’t taking his loss lightly — he’s already preparing for Season 4, which won’t air until March 25, 2013. And though Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will be taking a temporary leave of absence — replaced by Shakira and Usher — Adam only has one competitor on his mind.

After three seasons of a blossoming bromance, Adam is ready to take down two-time champ Blake Shelton.

E! News caught up with Blake after Cassadee’s win, where Adam interrupted the interview.

"Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, I won twice, blah, blah!" Adam mocked Blake. "Your ass is f—ing grass. It's f—ing on. It's a bloodbath next season. I'm taking your tall country ass down!"

That’s quite a threat to make at such a large man, Adam! But Blake brushed off Adam’s tough words with his Season 3 triumph, and we know these two would never get in a real fight.

Do you think Adam or Blake will take home a win next season, or will Shakira and Usher snag the top spot? Weigh in below!
