Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

LeAnn Rimes Is “Flattered” to Be Mentioned on Real Housewives — But Says There’s “No Reality” to the Show

LeAnn Rimes is trying her best to put a positive spin on all her recent drama involving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Brandi Glanville.

The country singer appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on December 18, where she was asked what it's like for her husband's ex-wife to be on a reality show.

LeAnn didn't appear to know quite how to handle the question, as she replied, "Which part?" She then said, "There's no 'reality' in a reality show. There isn't."

"I guess it's not weird when I know that's not my reality," she continued.

After that, LeAnn tried to be a bit more diplomatic about the situation.

"Here's the therapy coming out of me," LeAnn said. "I should feel flattered that I'm that interesting that I can be such an amazing storyline on a reality show."

We appreciate LeAnn doing her best to not add fuel to the fire. Still, as anyone who's watched this season knows she hasn't exactly been a storyline, apart from the fact that Brandi's book is said to be about her divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian. Eddie and Brandi were still married when he started having an affair with LeAnn, and now LeAnn and Eddie are married.

LeAnn also addressed her recent 30-day stint in rehab for stress and anxiety. "The last four years have been very compressed with stress the affair, getting married I didn't know how to deal with it so I wanted to take care of myself," she told Jay.

Let's hope LeAnn and Brandi can continue to be a bit more civil in the new year!
