Real Housewives’ Yolanda Foster Took My Husband and My Show, Says Linda Thompson: Report

Is one of David Foster's ex-wives jealous over the fact that his current wife, Yolanda Foster, is on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Linda Thompson is a friend of Kyle Richards' and has been seen periodically on the show, notably as a guest at Brandi's contentious Malibu beach party last season. She and David were married for 14 years before filing for divorce in 2005, and Linda had previously dated Elvis Presley.

According to the NY Daily News, Linda had gotten word that Bravo was looking to add new Housewives for Season 3, and so "she was campaigning hard, trying everything," according to a source.

"She’s tried everything to get in front of the camera at parties," the source continued.

However, it didn't work, and Linda was reportedly all shook up when she learned that David's current wife got the gig. "When she found out Yolanda was cast [on the show], she told everyone, ‘Not only did Yolanda take my husband, she also took my show!'" says the source. “She was so desperate to get that role, but Yolanda got it.”

Apparently, Linda hoped there would be a silver lining. "Linda thought then at least with Yolanda on the show, as David’s ex-wife, maybe she’d get more screen time,” says the source says. However, Yolanda reportedly made it clear to Bravo that she didn't want Linda near any of the cameras. So much for that!

A Bravo rep calls this rumor "totally false" and added, "Linda appears in the show this season."

Real Housewives hasn't been Linda's first brush with reality-show stardom. She and David appeared in the short-lived 2005 Fox show The Princes of Malibu, centered around Linda's two sons from her previous marriage to Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Bruce Jenner. One of those sons is The Hills star Brody Jenner.

Yeesh this family loves reality TV! Or should we say, to quote Elvis, that the family loves it tender.
