Tate Stevens Performs “Anything Goes” on The X Factor Finale — Was It Better Than the First Time?

Tate Stevens has had a special place in our hearts (and a stocking hung by the hearth) since the first time he and his cowboy hat took the stage. It seems like forever ago that Tate moseyed on into our worlds, giving us a passport to join Tate Nation and making country fans of us all.

It wasn’t just his story or his down-home charm that made us fall in love, of course. His performance on The X Factor’s Season 2 auditions was stellar. He sang “Anything Goes” and we could not think of a better song to show off his range, tone, and marketable appeal.

So, it was only natural that he would end a season of country classics with a repeat performance of Randy Houser’s hit on the Season 2 finale. Did you love it as much as the first time, three months ago, or do you wish he had picked something else to sing? Watch both and then weigh in below.
