The Bachelorette

Ashley and J.P.’s Wedding Highlights: Emily Maynard’s Dress and a Stagliano Dance-Off — Exclusive

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum tied a bright pink bow around their Bachelorette Season 6 fairytale on December 1, 2012, when they married in Pasadena, CA. The petite bombshell dentist married her final rose pick, 35-year-old construction project manager J.P., in a star-studded ceremony officiated by Bachelorette host Chris Harrison. Also in attendance? Possessionista fashion blogger and Bachelor Nation BFF Dana Weiss.

Wetpaint Entertainment spoke with Dana after she returned from the “ruckus” of a wedding, and she could not stop gushing about the weekend’s events. “They are honestly so in love with each other,” Dana said (and kept saying) during our phone conversation. “Their families are just so lovely. J.P.’s parents — I can’t even tell you how obsessed with them I am. I had brunch with them the morning after the wedding!”

Dana, who has been chronicling Bachelor and Bachelorette fashion for years, was still reeling from the surreal weekend spent surrounded by reality TV stars. Asked what she thought of Emily Maynard’s risky Myne black velvet maxi dress, Dana jumped to Em’s defense. “It was really pretty in person,” adding that the choice was not only a stylish one, but a respectful one. “She was really there to celebrate [Ashley and J.P]. We know Em in sequins and glitter, but this was a really understated choice. She’s such a lady!”

The highlight of the evening was, of course, prompted by the open bar. Ashley and J.P.’s friends and family partied all the way from after the 2 PM ceremony to midnight, Dana reports. “It was the funnest bar mitzvah you’ve ever been to. We were doing Gangam Style on the dance floor.” But there was one steely-blue eyed duo who stole the show... “At one point, there was a Stagliano dance-off, which was the greatest moment of my life. Dianna [Stagliano] joined in, hilariously, doing the shopping cart.”
