New Details: Jersey Shore Closed Off Seaside Beach for Hours to Film Farewell Bonfire – Exclusive
Wetpaint Entertainment was the first to break that the cast of Jersey Shore had filmed a “farewell bonfire” earlier this week with family and friends. Now, we have even more details on the tight security and work that went into creating that casual-looking beach BBQ. “There was high security around the bonfire, that’s for sure,” an insider tells us. “The beach and the boardwalk were both closed off for a half mile each way.” Filming went until 2 a.m., the insider adds, and while the footage may be used in the season finale, the cast is definitely still in town. “There’s no sign that they’re packing up. In fact, they worked at the Shore Store yesterday. Usually, they’ll stop working at least a few days before filming wraps up. It looks like they’re going to be here at least through the weekend.” This coincides with another source that told us earlier that the cast will be filming through the week.
