Tamera Mowry Writes Adorable Letter to Her 1-Month-Old Son
Even though babies can’t read until they are at least a few years old, former Sister, Sister starTamera Mowry-Housley wrote an adorable letter to her 1-month-old son. Like a time capsule, she’s going to save it until little Aden is older, wanting to capture for him exactly how she feels right now.
She shared the hand-written letter with fans on her official site, and Necole Bitchie was nice enough to transcribe the note. It made us tear up a little to read about her journey, including her reaction to getting pregnant, naming Aden, and seeing him for the first time.
“You’ll get used to mommy’s tears eventually. I cry at everything,” she wrote. “Once I heard I became pregnant with you, I felt a joy that I have never felt before and cried tears of joy.”
She went on to say that she knew his name “instantly,” and she was “so nervous, excited, and anxious” for his arrival. Since her “lil’ booger” was two weeks late, she spent countless sleepless nights imagining what he would look like, but she said, “When I saw you for the first time, my heart melted and I couldn’t believe such a beautiful angel was mine.” Aww!
She ended the note by saying, “Mommy can’t wait to see you grow into a fine young man and I’m looking forward to our many fun adventures together. Love you with all of my heart and soul. I see the world with new eyes because of you and I thank you for that my son.”
This is a great idea for new moms. We bet little Aden will read this note when he’s older and think his mom is cheesy, but sweet nonetheless.
