Jersey Shore

What Will The Situation Do After Jersey Shore Ends?

As the Jersey Shore’s series finale draws nearer, most of the show’s castmates have been looking forward to what’s to come with their futures. Both Snooki and JWOWW, for instance, have declared their plans for what comes next, but with The Situation, things are still a little up in the air.

Sitch, who’s sworn off booze (and other substances) after entering rehab treatment earlier this year, has declared that the world only got to see one side of him and his co-stars throughout Jersey Shore’s six seasons.

Speaking to the New York Times, he said, “We’re all very dense human beings with lots of different facets … And I think you only get to see that one side — the party side.” Sounds like someone wants to give reality TV another, more sober go, doesn’t it?

For now, though, Mike’s got his hands full with his burgeoning comic book career, clothing line and promotional appearances — not to mention a legal dispute with Devotion Spirits — so he’s indeed staying busy. Sitch once filed for unemployment before hitting the big time on the Shore, too, so he definitely knows what it’s like to be down on his luck and will probably keep hustling in the biz as long as he can.

Catch the next new episode of Jersey Shore on Thursday, December 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
