Another Sexy Former Glee Star Headed to Ryan Murphy’s The New Normal

John Stamos may not be headed back to Glee anytime soon, but fear not. You’ll soon be able to watch him in all his handsome glory on another Ryan Murphy show.

We had a blast watching John play Emma’s (Jayma Mays) husband, Dr. Carl, during Glee’s Season 2, especially when he was belting out a number from Rocky Horror (Uncle Jesse has pipes!) or getting shamelessly hit on by Santana (Naya Rivera). So it’s understandable to wish he’d pop back in on Glee one of these days.

But if you’re going through “Stamos withdrawal” (and if that’s not a real disease, then it should be), then Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s got you covered. Entertainment Weekly reveals that John will appear on a 2013 episode of Ryan’s comedy The New Normal. In it, he’ll play a co-worker of Jane’s, and the conservative grandmother will apparently question his sexuality.

It looks like John is already fitting it perfectly with the cast. On December 20, Ryan Murphy tweeted a pic of New Normal star Andrew Rannells hanging out with the Full House star. Let’s just say that those are two perfectly coiffed heads of hair.

John will be the third former Glee guest star to appear on Ryan’s new comedy. Along with NeNe Leakes (Coach Roz), who is a recurring character on the show, Ryan also got Matt Bomer — aka Blaine’s (Darren Criss) older brother, Cooper — on board for a guest appearance.

Now, making anyone choose between John Stamos and Matt Bomer is both cruel and unusual. But if you had to pick: Which of the two guest appearances are you excited about the most?
