Pretty Little Liars Season 3B Spoilers: Could There Be an Ezria Love Triangle? Marlene King Says…

With Aria (Lucy Hale) now hiding a big, child-sized secret from Ezra (Ian Harding), some Pretty Little Liars fans are wondering if that relationship is in for trouble — perhaps of the love triangle variety.

Some people picked up on a more-than-friendly spark between Aria and Ezra's younger brother, Wesley (Gregg Sulkin), during the Season 3 summer season, and now that we know Wesley's coming back, we're wondering if there might be a little sibling rivalry going on over Rosewood's loveliest artsy high schooler.

Wetpaint Entertainment recently took part in on a conference call with showrunner Marlene King, and she addressed this very question.

When asked if there is a love triangle between Aria, Ezra, and Wesley in 3B, Marlene replied, "I think you definitely should watch and decide for yourself if Aria and Wesley have a connection. I think it's going to be fun for our fans to let that unfold as Season 3 progresses."

So, that's not a yes, but it's certainly not a no, either. It sounds like the spark that people observed will be explored, but perhaps not acted on.

Don't worry, Ezria fans. Whatever happens with Ezra's little bro, it also sounds like there is going to be plenty of stuff for you to enjoy!

Marlene also dished that she loves "the Ezria story in Season 3B. It's really heartfelt and emotional, and we get to see a side of Ezra that we haven't seen before and also, I think, a side of Aria. I think we really get to watch them go through some real life drama, some real life emotion. They really get to dig deep in regards to how soulful their connection is."
