Real Housewives of New York

LuAnn de Lesseps Gives a Rare Glimpse of Her Home

Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps gave her fans her own brand of holiday treat this year by offering up a rare glimpse inside her New York City pad and sharing a few of her Christmas surprises.

In a video exclusive from OK TV, she explained, “What I love about the holidays is you get to spend time with your family. You get to eat a lot … for me, it’s really about spending time with the family and being at home and being lazy and not having to do anything and just enjoying.”

This year, though, she was neither with her family nor at home!

“We spent Thanksgiving together out at the Hamptons, and I actually had my ex-husband and Jacques … It’s really, really nice to spend time and have this grownup relationship, which we do. It’s the new normal. It’s so important, I think, for the children to see that, everybody being happy together,” she said before admitting that this Christmas her kids visited their dad in Switzerland while she and boyfriend Jacques went to Paris and Marrakech to celebrate the season.

As for the RHONY co-stars, she didn’t ring ‘em up for any holiday cheer this year, either. “When we’re off and on hiatus, we tend to stay off and on hiatus,” she laughed. “It’s funny because we do work a lot together, so when we’re off, we enjoy our time off with our family and ‘real friends.’”

So, what is LuAnn looking forward to next year?

“Hopefully good health and another season of Housewives, and I’m very excited because I’m working on a new tabletop collection and I just got word that I’ll be on QVC with it in March,” she said.

As for what Jacques received from Santa this year, LuAnn says he got a monogrammed cashmere sweater and a little suit scarf with his initials on it as well.
