Chris Pratt Gives Update on Son, Who Was Born 9 Weeks Premature
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are The Funny Couple, but they had serious fear for their son, Jack, who was born way ahead of schedule last August.
"He was born nine weeks premature, so we spent a month in the intensive care unit with him,” Chris told David Letterman on Wednesday. "But he’s totally healthy now. He’s home. He’s happy. He’s started laughing. He is just so perfect and I love him so much. ... He’s just a ball of joy. He’s terrific."
Aww! Jack was named after Anna's father, and at 4-months-old he's also started doing cute little exercises — which you can see Chris do with him in a video the actor shared during a separate interview with Conan O'Brien.
On a different (but still interesting) note, Chris worked as a door-to-door salesman for two years, from age 18 to 20, before finding success as an actor. Now his career is thriving, from Parks and Recreation to Zero Dark Thirty. Oh, and you might've seen Chris and Anna on a recent episode of Top Chef. They had a meal created for them!
