Harry Styles Feels “Upset” and “Foolish” About Split With Taylor Swift: Report

You’re not alone, Harry!

At this point, whenever Taylor Swift enters a new relationship, people start one timer for how long it will last and a second for how long it will take her (or her ex) to write a song about it. The first timer is now buzzing for Tay and One Direction's Harry Styles. Will the second timer ever sound, or have they both learned to keep some things private?

Last summer Tay was with Conor Kennedy, and for two months there she was with Harry. There were rumors for a while that Taylor had only faked her breakup with Conor and was still dating him, and still more rumors that "Haylor" was faked as a publicity stunt. But rumors are a dime a dozen; there were others saying Taylor was considering buying a home in England to be closer to Harry and his family. So who knows.

The news came out yesterday that Taylor and Harry split after a big fight in the British Virgin Islands. A source confirmed the breakup to Life & Style, saying, "Harry's really upset about the split and is really sensitive about it. Loads of his friends told him to be careful and that it was never going to last, and he feels a little foolish now that it's fallen apart so quickly."

But again, who knows. Maybe they'll pull a Justin/Selena and get back together, then split again, then rinse, repeat. Or they could never, ever, ever get back together. They are both young and seem to fall in "love" pretty easily, so maybe this was always meant to be a brief winter romance, as a counterpoint to Taylor's summer romance with Conor. Now she can go "back to December" all the time to remember the good days...
