Pretty Little Liars’ Lindsey Shaw On Season 3B: Romance for Paige and Emily and Paige’s Unlikely Ally

Traumatized is a word you can use to describe quite a few people in the world of Pretty Little Liars, particularly Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Paige (Lindsey Shaw), all three of whom recently faced death at the hands of “A” in the first half of Season 3. That being said, it’s a sad truth that Aria and Emily are kind of used to it. So how is Paige going to deal with her trauma? And what’s coming up for Paily in Season 3B?

Celebuzz caught up with Lindsey to talk about everything from Paige’s trauma to her unlikely ally.

First up, how Emily is going to help Paige get through the PTSD that results from a life filled with “A.”

“Obviously there’s a lot of trauma that she’s dealing with from that at the beginning of the winter premiere. We kind of see her very secluded and isolated. She’s very fearful and traumatized and we get to see Emily kind of come to her rescue, which is great. You get to see Emily take care of her in this really loving way so in the midst of all the chaos there’s a lot of good romantic Paily scenes,” Lindsey said.

But don’t think that one life-or-death situation means that Paige is down for the count.

“A little ways through Paige gets her fight back and she kind of teams up with someone very interesting to sort of continue the battle against the ‘A’ team,” Lindsey said. Hmm. Who could Paige be working with in order to dig up “some dirt on the ‘A’ team?” Perhaps she’ll team up with another Liar’s significant other? Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) ? Ezra (Ian Harding)? Could she bury the hatchet and team up with Spencer (Troian Bellisario)?

Other notes: Paige has yet to meet Emily’s parents and will remain isolated from Mona (Janel Parrish). Hopefully that means she’ll stay safe.

What are you most excited for in Season 3B?
