Fifty Shades of Grey Movie: What Will It Be Rated? The Answer May Surprise You!
If you're worried that the Hollywood version of Fifty Shades of Grey is going to be too tame, fear not!
Kelly Marcel, the screenwriter who is currently writing the film adaptation of the E.L. James novel, spoke to The Sunday Times about the fact that the movie will be just as sexy as you're hoping it will be.
“Well, there is going to be a lot of sex in the film," she says. “It will be rated NC-17. It’s going to be raunchy.” We approve!
Kelly has been working closely with E.L. James to pick and choose which scenes will make it into the movie.
“We did go through and decide which are our favorites and which are not,” she says. “Most of them are in there, but I can’t say more than that.”
“We are 100% going there," Kelly promises about making the movie as hot as possible.
Kelly also admits to having a soft spot for the character of Christian Grey.
“I don’t care what anybody says, there is something about Christian that is old-fashioned and romantic," she explains. “The fans love this book, and I want them to love the film as much. I want to make them laugh and cry, to turn them on. I want this to do everything.”
We must admit — we're now even more excited than before about this film!
