Real Housewives of Atlanta

Kenya Moore Feels “Relieved” to be Done With Walter Jackson, Blames Herself for the Relationship

On last Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we watched as Kenya Moore finally gave Walter the old heave-ho and broke up with the commitment-phobic dude. Now, the marriage minded girl is opening up about how free she feels to be done with that relationship.

In an interview with Ok!, Kenya reveals, “I feel relieved. No one should settle for a relationship for the sake of being in one. Once I moved to Atlanta the relationship was flushed out. I saw Walter for who he really is and his intentions were false. I'm glad it's over.

And as you may have guessed, Kenya hasn’t looked back since breaking things off, noting that she no longer has any contact with Walter because “he was not a good person to me.”

Even though Walter clearly had his own agenda when he coupled up with Kenya, the beauty queen is also holding herself responsible for the demise of the relationship.
“I can only blame myself because I saw the red flags with Walter and ignored them,” she explains.

“I have been proposed to 6 times prior to Walter and never accepted because I wasn't ready. Now that I am, I wanted to make sure it wasn't me running away like I've done in the past.”

Kenya has stated that she wants to find “real love” in 2013, and obviously that does not include Walter. Do you have high hopes for Kenya’s love life? Tell us below!
