Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

What Did Real Housewives’ Russell Armstrong Do For a Living?

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Russell Armstrong and Taylor Armstrong lived in a beautiful mansion before he passed away in August 2011, although rumor has it that he had been facing financial difficulty. So what did he do for a living?

Russell worked as a venture capitalist and investment banker. He is said to have accumulated his wealth by investing in over 200 companies. He had also been serving as the founding managing director of Crescent Financial Partners, which is a private equity firm based out of Beverly Hills.

Russell’s financial situation appears to have been rocky at the time of his suicide. Taylor has said on the show this season that he left her with a $700K debt and a $1.5 million lawsuit.

In addition, Russell’s business partner, Alan Schram, committed suicide fewer than 24 hours after Russell took his own life. Also, Russell had filed for bankruptcy back in 2005.

As of now, Taylor’s net worth has been estimated at $400K, between her $175K annual salary from appearing on Real Housewives, along with the advance from her book deal. We wish her the best as she continues raising her and Russell’s six-year-old daughter, Kennedy.
