Jennifer Lawrence, Adele, and Other Stars React to 2013 Oscar Nominations

This is quite an exciting day for a number of Hollywood's biggest stars, as the 2013 Oscar nominations have been announced. So how does it feel to be nominated?

Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for Best Actress for the second time, this one for Silver Linings Playbook. Instead of saying something wildly entertaining, J.Law released a remarkably staid annoucement (via Zap2it).

"I'm so honored and grateful for this nomination and to be in the company of such talented actresses," she says. "Having the fortunate opportunity to work with David O. Russell was an extraordinary gift, and I am so thrilled for my fellow cast members Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver, who are all nothing short of amazing. This was a labor of love that we all poured our hearts into and could not be more thankful to the Weinstein Co. and Harvey Weinstein for their unyielding support of the film."

Hugh Jackman earned a nomination for Best Actor for Les Miserables, and he tells E! Online that he was trying to avoid listening to the announcement but couldn't help himself.

"I hadn't planned to listen live to the announcements, but when I got into the car this morning to go to work, the driver had the nominations streaming as they were being broadcast," Hugh says. "To be honest, it's very exciting but all a bit surreal, and it hasn't fully sunk in yet."

Competing against Hugh is Bradley Cooper, who earned his first-ever Oscar nod for Silver Linings Playbook. Bradley was thrilled that his film's director, David O. Russell, got nominated as well.

"Seeing David O. get that nom… man, I kinda lost it," he admits. "It's like 4:30 in the morning, and I'm puttering around the house, and I got my mom up and then my dog, and then we were watching it. So it was pretty by the book, waiting with bated breath."

Adele, who is up for Best Original Song, tweeted, "Oh my god I feel like Meryl Streep!! Thank you x"

And Amy Adams earned her fourth Oscar nomination with a Best Supporting Actress nom for The Master.

"It is such an honor to receive this recognition from the Academy," she says. "Working with Paul Thomas Anderson was a unique and wonderful opportunity that I am so grateful for. I'd also like to send congratulations to the other nominees and to my costars Philip [Seymour Hoffman] and Joaquin [Phoenix]."

Congrats to all of the nominated stars! May the odds be ever in their favor.
